Camping/Kayaking at Summit Lake State Park

We camped at Summit Lake State Park over the Memorial Day Holiday...went up on Friday afternoon and came home today (Monday).  Had a great time with friends Lyn and Carolyn Weakley, Wayne and Becky Hinkle and Kim and Dave Allen.  We ate a ton of food and it was all delicious.

Got in two days of early morning kayaking but the photo opportunities were slim.  We did photograph an Osprey nesting and the other adult not far away on a pole, also got some Canada geese, Great Blue Heron on a fly-by and photographed the mating of the Tree Swallow, there were a few Cormorants also.  Oh I can't forget the beautiful sunrise and sunsets either.

Next stop on the photography trail is Destin Florida in June, then camping at Deam Lake during Fourth of July Holiday and Carter Cave State Park in mid July...
